Wix places embeds inside a fixed-size iframe, which is the one thing to watch: give the element more height than you think the widget needs, because it will crop rather than scroll.
Anywhere on the page as a dragged element, or site-wide through Custom Code in the header.
Full-width sections suit carousel and grid layouts; narrow columns and sidebars suit a badge or a list. Floating badges can be limited to particular pages and to desktop or mobile.
Wix wraps embeds in a fixed-size iframe, so a widget can end up cropped. Drag the element taller rather than changing the widget.
If the widget appears in the editor but not on the live site, the change was previewed rather than published. The Wix troubleshooting page goes through the rest in order.
The free plan runs on a live Wix site — a plan, not a trial, with no expiry and no card at signup. Paid plans are priced by monthly views and widget count. Websites are unlimited on every plan.
