I deleted a review but it’s still showing
A review deleted on Google is not automatically removed from the widget, and waiting will not change that.
The short answer
A review deleted on Google is not automatically removed from the widget, and waiting will not change that. Only our developers can remove it.
As an immediate workaround, hide it with a keyword or name filter.
The workaround, now
Settings → Filters → exclude by reviewer name, or by a distinctive phrase from the review. It disappears from your site straight away. This is worth doing before you contact support, because it solves the visible problem immediately.
The permanent fix
Send support two things: the widget installation code, and enough detail to identify which review — the reviewer name and a phrase from the text. Removal is a manual operation on our side.
Why it works this way
Collected reviews are stored so the widget does not hit the source on every page load. A deletion on the platform is not something the source announces, so there is nothing for the widget to react to.
