The short answer
Two error messages can appear when you add a source. One means the link could not be read; the other means collection is queued behind a technical update and will complete on its own.
Both are red text under the source you just added.
Oops! We couldn’t collect reviews from the provided source.
The link was read and nothing usable was found. Check three things in order: the link has no typo, the domain is one the source accepts, and the page you linked actually has reviews on it.
A profile with zero reviews produces this error, which surprises people who were testing with a new listing.
We’re currently doing some technical updates.
Nothing is wrong. Collection is queued and will complete without you doing anything. Save the widget and come back later; the reviews will appear.
If the link is definitely right
Send support the widget installation code and the source link you used. Those two things are enough to reproduce it; without them the ticket takes an extra day.
