Homeowners hiring a trade check two or three places before they call anyone, and the places they check are not the ones a shop worries about. Reviews here are long, project-specific and frequently name the person who did the work.

Which of these to actually bother with
Google first, always, and then whichever of these your country actually uses. A UK trade with nothing on Checkatrade and an empty Angi profile has wasted the effort on the wrong one.
The reviews here are your best material. A homeowner reads a paragraph about a bathroom that ran two days over and was fixed properly, and that paragraph does more than any rating.

Your rating on the biggest platform is what search shows. Your website is where someone decides. Those are different moments, and the second is helped by breadth — reviews from three sources read as harder to fabricate than the same number from one.
