Is showing Google reviews allowed?

Reviews customers left for your business can be displayed on your website. The widget is a tool for doing that.

It does not scrape Google. Review data comes through a third-party service, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

We do not parse or scrape Google. Google is named descriptively, to identify where the reviews came from, and no connection or endorsement is implied. Reviews are attributed and displayed as written.

Displaying reviews attributed and unaltered is normal. Editing the text of someone’s review, removing attribution, or presenting a filtered subset as though it were everything are all different acts with different consequences. Our widget never recalculates your rating from a filtered set, which keeps the displayed score true.

A review with a name and photo is personal data. Displaying a public review in context is routine, and honouring a removal request is the sensible response if one arrives. More on GDPR and reviews.
