A button, not a section. Shows your rating, opens the full set in a popup when someone clicks.
When to use a reviews button
It takes one line of space instead of a section, which makes it the answer when a page has no room to spare but the rating still needs to be visible. The reviews are one click away rather than absent.
It suits pages where the visitor is doing something else — a checkout, a booking form, a pricing table — and interrupting them with a wall of reviews would cost more than it gains.
What you can set
Label: automatic, custom, or none
Size: small, medium or large
Show or hide the source icon, star row and review count
Click action: open the reviews popup, open the source profile, or nothing
Inline or floating display mode
Where it works best
Headers, sidebars, next to a buy or contact button, and in a footer. Anywhere a full section would be too much and no rating at all would be too little.
Every layout takes the same sources — Google, Facebook and 68 others — so the choice here is presentation, not capability.
