Works in one browser but not another

If the widget appears in one browser and not another, or works in incognito but not normally, a browser extension is blocking it — usually an ad blocker or a privacy extension.

Your visitors are mostly unaffected, though some will have the same extensions installed.

Open the page in a private or incognito window, where extensions are disabled by default. If the widget appears, an extension is the cause. Re-enable extensions one at a time to find which.

Nothing, for your own browsing beyond adding an exception. For visitors there is no fix — an ad blocker that categorises third-party scripts broadly will block a lot more than this widget, and that is the visitor’s choice.

What is worth checking is that nothing important is hidden behind the widget. A page whose only social proof is a blocked widget shows nothing at all to that visitor.

Then it is not an extension. Go back to the main diagnostic — most likely a content security policy or the code not being on the page.
