WordPress review plugins do one of two jobs. Some display reviews that already exist on Google, marketplaces and elsewhere. Others collect and store reviews inside WordPress itself.

If your reviews are on Google, a collection plugin is the wrong tool however good it is. If you want visitors reviewing your posts or products on your own site, an aggregator will not do it.

Prices are deliberately absent because they change monthly and a stale figure is worse than none. Check each product’s own page.

• Reviews on Google — an aggregator, whether as a plugin or an embed.

• Reviews on your own site, about your posts or products — a collection plugin, or WooCommerce’s own if you are on it.

• Both — run one of each. They do not conflict, though watch page weight if both load scripts everywhere.

• Before installing anything in this category — check the last-updated date and tested-up-to version. This niche has a long tail of abandoned plugins still sitting in the directory.
